And did you know, this year we went plastic free!

The BIG T organisers understand the huge environment issue and concerns with single-use plastics being used in and around the country for sporting events.

So this year we took our first steps to reduce our usage by providing paper cups at the water stations.

We encouraged all attending the event to bring reusable bottles to reduced the amount of waste. Also 99% of our trophies are wooden instead of the usual plastic ones.

Every year we will take these small steps to hopefully one day be a environmentally friendly event as possible.

And just in case you didn’t know – entries for The Big T 2020 are OPEN with great early bird discounts! These are available in tiers, so once they’re gone, they’re gone. Secure your entry now! Did the Sprint Distance this year? Why not take on the Enduro next year! There’s plenty of time to train.
