Weekly Round Up

So here we are approaching February, after what has been a great week of training and racing. Friday seen one of the most attended swim sessions for a very long time, 20 of you braved the set that Mark Harrison produced with lots of fast 50’s, he worked everyone hard creating a great atmosphere and training session.

Lets get to what you guys have been doing Saturday, most headed out training on the bike or running, still without letting the weather beat us, first up is the usual Park run which Rob James finished second over all, alongside Amanda Drabble, Oliver Cope and Simon Cope with their awesome efforts. Where as Ian Hayman ventured out to bath for the last skyline of the series.

Moving on to Sunday we had our very own chairman Nick Cranston and wife attack the Longleat 10k, having a easy week of training Nick went into the race fully prepared to put himself in hurt locker, producing a great time of 39.27 bagging himself a second in age cat! Well done Nick.

The dreaded Slaughterford 9 was next with Kev the silver fox smashing a 1.13, James Crawford coming up behind him with a 1.38. Well Done gents!

The juniors were back at Clarendon with New junior committee member and coach Ashley Hutchinson, working on transition skills so plenty of running, running with the bike and practicing routines getting trainers on and off (always fun) as well as relay races and dodging obstacles while running with the bike.

We love seeing what you guys have been up to so please keep the pictures coming and have a great week of training.
